I so wish I can go...
[F1 night race!]
Haiz....
As my friends will know.....I am a fan of F1. Liked Ferrari and Michael Schumacher so much till he retired...ever since then, I am just supporting any driver from Ferrari. Currently, namely, Kimi Raikkonnen. And, it has been my dream to watch LIVE F1 race but it was quite impossible cos' it's too expensive (when Singapore wasn't the host, it is damn expensive).
AND don't tell me the crap like my mom told me. What, "Why watch LIVE? So waste money and uncomfortable cos' you will only be seeing the cars moving by once in each round, and the rest of the time you only watch from the big screen? Watch at home better, cos' more comfortable, and TV will show you from different parts of the race!"
PLEASE LOR!! Only a hardcore fan like me (my dad and my bro) will know the difference lor! I mean, it's seeing your favourite F1 cars LIVE and zooming past you AND the ambience AND the first NIGHT STREET RACE in F1 races!!!
NON-fans will not know the difference. Just like I don't see why people from the European countries can be so on to watch their soccer matches LIVE in the stadium when you can't see the players very well can you?
I guess cos' I am not a soccer fan. Whatever! I am a F1 fan!!!!
I SOOOOOOOOOOOO WANNNNNNNNNNNNAAAAAAA WATCH F1 NIGHT RACE IN SINGAPORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But....I can't. Cos' the prices of the tickets are so expensive I tell you!!!
I know I know. Apart from the grand stand (which I really love to be there BUT SO EXPENSIVE! The most expensive one is about thousand over I think), which is real expensive, the single day or three day passes are quite affordable if you asked me. I mean, the cheapest one is the single day pass on Friday, 26th September, only cost $38.
But if you asked me, I won't be ONLY BUY $38 one day pass. If you know F1, Friday night is not the actual race night. The actual exciting race night is always on the last day, and F1 lasts 3 days. So if I want to buy, I will either buy the single day pass (Sunday aka actual race day) which costs $108, or 3 days pass (more value-for-money, cos' it's only $168).
I don't mind walking around at all! I mean, it's so much better cos' I can choose where I want to see my favourite team! I don't even care about being tired or what!
But do you know why I can't go????
Cos' I promised my dad and bro that I will bring them to go. More like treat them.
AND since I am so vain(shop too much) and my pay is so low and all, I over spent and can't afford the single day $108 or 3 days $168!!!!!!!!! For my own, yes, I can. For 3 people, sorry, I can't.
Since I can't bring them go, it will be very bad if I go myself, and let my dad and bro watch at home while I enjoy myself right?????? I mean, I already broke my promise:( still go and enjoy by myself.
AND it's my dad's birthday. He was hoping I will treat him to F1. In the end, I can only afford to bring him to eat.
Blame it both on my low wage and retail therapy!
HAIZ!!!!!!!!!! So badly want to watch:(
GAH! Have to save up next year, so I can bring 3 OF US TO THE 3 DAY OR ACTUAL DAY RACE!!

Busy me...quite.
[ So fast! ]
Time flies so fast! Didn't seem to enjoy much of my school holidays...in resting I mean. Cos' Monday I spent the day with bro....then yesterday I spent it with nana....
So I only rested on Tuesday and today...but don't get me wrong, I am not complaining. Just marvel that it is already Thursday, almost the end of my school holidays!
Actually, officially the end, cos' from tomorrow onwards I have to wake up very early in the morning. Since I am a night owl, I hate to wake up early.
But really happy that I got to meet dear, despite the fact that he is so busy. I mean, he makes the effort to meet me cos' if not we won't get to meet during the weekdays. So today, he met me for breakfast again! I was late:( Sorry dearie~
OH! I also want to thank those parents and children who gave me Teachers' Day present. I think this year is the most I have gotten...compared to last time. I have got TWO whole big paper bags of flowers, chocolates, notebooks, pen(parker, ok!), keychain, cookies, pencil holders, and the most interesting one I have gotten....guess what?
Whitia moisture cream, lipgloss and 2 professional nail polish(real expensive ones from manicurist)!!!! So happy!!!
Interesting isn't it? But not to mention it's very useful ok? For a vainpot like me...who has countless facial products.... HEH:)
Wonder what I will get next year...haha...greedy me.
On a more serious note, I really want to thank those parents...but it's difficult to remember who gave and who did not...so, just want to thank them in any case.
Ok...change of topic, I have a love-hate affair with my ipod classic.
Well, it's bad enough that it has to be using itunes instead of any other program(like windows media), the converting of videos to make it ipod-friendly is killing me!! It takes dinosaur years to convert videos!!!! Probably cos' my fujitsu laptop is from dinosaur years too...since it was bought from my poly days ok!
In any case, once I reformat my laptop...and I didn't keep my previous itunes library songs....thats it lor!!! The stupid ipod can't save the songs that's inside it....meaning, I have thousand over songs in my ipod, if I don't keep another copy, that's it man! If you reformat your com without having extra copies....when you re-download itunes from the apple website, when ipod synches new songs from the new library, it has to DELETE THE OLD SONGS INSIDE THE IPOD!!!!!
Crazy right??? What's the point of having an 80GB ipod when I can't store songs peacefully inside???
Anyway I found a solution for it...it's very stupid...but those of you who wants to know can ask me!! (But it's a stupid idea, I forewarn you)
Gah! Look at the time! I gotta eat my lunch:) That's enough crap for now.

School Holidays again!!!
[Yay! Sept holidays!]
Well.....as you can see, I am super happy cos' it's the holidays once again:)
Dear has been really nice to me lately. So happy:) First he bought flowers(for teacher's day I think)....then he met me for breakfast this morning. Heh. You might think I am easily satisfied...indeed I am.
But, you have to know that now Dear is having his final yr in his studies...Honors' year you know. He is so busy everyday...like, he has to reached school at about ten/eleven/twelve(some days), then he has to stay till eight/nine p.m. at night! Such long hours right???So stressful! Reminds me of my Wheelock College days, which I worked the whole day and studied till ten during week nights. But Dear seems to be taking it well.
So I am glad he sacrificed some of his sleeping time for me, cos' other than breakfast, there is no other time for me...cos' he studied till so late at night. AND today is his long day in school, till nine p.m. Anyway, we went to the market for breakfast, which I finally got to eat the carrot cake:)
Anyway, this Friday I am going to do my hair! (Still owe Zen, my cute boyish hairdresser, a drink) Tomorrow I am going to meet nana!!!!! SOOooooooo long never see her!
Anyway...I promised you guys some photos....so today lots of photos will be put up!
First coming up...photos from my birthday celebration:) Dear brought me to this place at Gilman Village call Beer Station. We went there twice:) First time we went there for my birthday celebration, and more photos taken during the second time we went with Qi which was a very last minute decision cos' we didn't plan to go there!
You know...Beers are dear's favourite. After all, he brews his own beer, and for someone who does not really like beer (me), I kind of like it :) So proud of him:) Sorry, I have digressed.
Anyway...Beer station's food and beer, to me, are very tasty. AND their beer is from Czechoslovakia. But for beer lovers like Qi and dear, it's simply too bland...and not bitter (I like! Heh, maybe I should move to Czechoslovakia.)

Overall, I had an enjoyable time during my birthday. However,the sad thing is, me and dear agreed that Beer station is going to close down very soon, cos' even on Saturday nights there isn't much people....can you imagine?
And just ordering only the beer or the finger food is simply not worth it...the finger food cost abt $8 with only a few pieces? And if you only order the meal it's about $12. And the beer is the usual $10+. But when you order combo, meaning the full meal set together with the beer, its only about $16? So of course we ordered the combo....
duh.

We went double O. And I enjoyed the dancing very much! Retro night and they always play my favourites like "Billie Jean"(don't care what people say about MJ, he is the best singer/dancer ever) and "It's my life"!! (though I hate it when there are lechers around)
