Damn pissed....
[ Plans postponed and dashed...for now ]
Yeah. This entry came abit too late huh? I actually had another entry, which is quite crappy but nonetheless gossipy, and girls will like it cos' it's hunks gallery, but due to my plans being postponed and dashed, I was in no mood to gush anymore....and since I feel much better about it now, might as well let you guys know what happened.
People who hate me are going to enjoy this...
Well, if you people read my previous entry, you would have learnt that this holiday I should be going overseas. To Thailand, and to Malaysia.
And due to the #$%#^@!^&* political situation in Thailand, I can't go. Or rather, dear's parents don't want us to go. I am not blaming them, you know. It was quite bad over there, with people stucked there due to the protests and all. So naturally, they were worried for us. Or that it would turn into a huge riot or something.
At that point of time, you couldn't imagine the roller coaster ride I went through. At first, when the airport was closed, I had to check the news everyday. My dad was so surprised to see me watching news every night, he thought I was planning a career switch or something, being so concerned about the political situation in Thailand and all.
I mean, I was really worried ok??? I really wanted to go, cos' if I don't, it's not only a HUGE disappointment, but think about the money that was lost!!!! (well, at that point of time, we thought if we didn't go, the hotel money will be gone, cos' they don't refund, even though the airline does).
Can you imagine a DOUBLE disappointment? Not getting to go on a trip but
still paying for it? I was going beserk!
Then I was super happy seeing the airport reopened, thinking that I get to go! Feeling happy, I thought my problems ended....TILL his parents said we were not allowed to go. Don't get me wrong, I understand where his parents were coming from....but that didn't make me feel any less disappointed.
I can see people who hate me is going to enjoy this.
All these while when the Thais are protesting, I was also trying to console myself that at least, I get to go Johore trip with my colleagues and best friend, even though I might not get to go Thailand. (The Johore trip was just a few days before my Thai trip). Though I was really sore cos' I really want to go on a trip with dear...
AND...that was when I got the news that Johore trip is
cancelled. Yeah, people who hate me, you can laugh your
ass off. I was beginning to think God hates me too, what with both trips getting cancelled on me.
So I decided I was in no mood to blog. Instead of blogging about my trips, I am complaining about them, and I didn't even get to go!
But luckily, the Cameron Highlands trip is still on. Though dear is not going to be around, it's still a trip to bond with my dad and bro. Any trip to relax is good, cos' school is reopening, and I am already feeling the stress, cos' my boss IS giving me alot of pressure to perform even better this year. She seemed to have high expectations of me.
Thinking about the new (but horrible) kids I met before the term ended this year during the parents meeting that just passed, add that with my boss's expectations, I need to recharge and relax ALOT.
Well, I have the mood to blog now, cos'(people who hate me is going to hate this), even though I didn't get to go Thailand trip this December... I
didn't lose any money, AND I am still going to go Thailand with dear!
WE POSTPONED IT! Yes, budget airline usually don't allow postponing for FREE, even though hotels do. At least ours did. But because it is an exceptional case, with the protests and all, Tiger airways allow postponing our trip, for FREE!!
Well, actually, it wasn't easy to change dates for FREE though. Not with Tiger airways. Somehow, you have to personally call them up to get it done free. If not, they will charge you with an admin fee of $200.
THAT'S horrendous ok! I even asked dear to tell them why not let ME do the admin work for them, and hence, waived off the charges. I mean, how difficult can it be, what with the advanced technology and computerised stuff and all. I was very sure it will just take them a few clicks on the mouse to get it done for us.
Well, after two looooooooooooong calls (waiting time: 50mins each, you do the math), dear and his dear sis got it postponed. YIPPEE!! (Mood swings high again!)
TAKE THAT! People who hate me!! Wahaha...I still get to go, and no money lost! (So god loves me after all, wahaha!) Well, I better not laugh yet. Who knows when the Thais might suddenly want to protest again? After all, they just changed a new prime minister, and I heard coups are very common in their country, so common that it is treated with a nonchalent attitude.
Whatever. As long as I get to go. I am
that self-centered. HAHA.
Oh well. I am away during Christmas! Cameron trip so far is looking strong! So...I won't be blogging for the next few days I guess! I will be busy preparing things:)
OH! As for the hunky-dory hunks I mentioned, if you're a girl, and like me, you love to look at eye-candies, then you gotta wait for my next entry! HEH. (Hmm....I wonder if my next entry will end up being my previous entry? After all, I saved it under drafts since I blogged it earlier this mth....hmm.)
Maybe you guys have to see the previous entry for the hunks when I finally published it. Sounds confusing? I am confused too:)
