The second holiday trip....

It was a nice and sweet trip. I mean, I got to spend time alone with dear, and it's not only fun, but really relaxing! We met some interesting people too:)

Well, our resort was the cheaper one, yet I preferred it more than the more expensive ones. Even though the other resorts(more expensive ones) have the nicer beach and water, it's sooooo crowded it feels like when I was suntanning at Sentosa.

In fact, it feels exactly like Sentosa. Except for the nice view(which is spoilt by too many people, inclusive of Ah muds and PRCs), many people are there playing beach volley ball game. It's impossible to relax at all. Every corner we turned, there were people.

AND all the resorts are so near to each other, and there was this one that blasted Malay songs out loud like how Cafe Delma at Sentosa does with the house music.

So even though the natural scenery was nicer, it's already spoilt by the amount of people there. Like completely covered with people. Anyone can hit you with a beach volley ball. How to relax?

But our resort is like a quiet, secluded and serene haven. There were no other resorts with us, so it feels like we are on something like a private island. It's really peaceful and quiet. NOBODY played beach volley ball (cos' our beach is not that huge), but it suited us fine cos' we wanted to swim at our beach.

Thank goodness dear chose the quiet and secluded one. Heard from dear that is the selling point of our resort anyway.

Anyway, the scenery is still nice, much better than Tioman, in my opinion. Cos' the water looked cleaner and nicer. More corals and fishes seen too.

He decided to plant it deep into the sand! (he and his crazy ideas again). According to the future Dr. Xue, the coconut will grow into a big tree in a few years time. So we have to go back and check next time.

Dear loves to read on loooong travelling trips...

He was once a fan of his....

We met some interesting friends during this trip as well! Dear er...affectionately nicknamed them the "Action packed".

Why is that so? Well, simply because...they are quite a happening bunch. Only two of them, yet they sounded like there were ten of them.

They loved to scream, squeal, yell, laugh, giggle, more squeals, screaming, giggling and yelling. At the very little things. Critics will call them "sua ku" (translation: country bumpkin). Kind people will call them enthusiastic girls who live life to the fullest.

Anyway, I felt that they are really nice, even though they get on my nerves sometimes, but they provided good entertainment for me n dear:) But since they have alot of my photos yet don't bother to pass to me no matter how many times I asked from them, I really feel like strangling them for putting me through all those torturous squeals and screams.

They are so passionate and enthusiastic about everything that they managed to find new friends at Redang. Like this Indian man who worked there.

On the whole, I really enjoyed the trip and really want to thank dear for bringing me there:) Dear promised me that we will go on couple trip like this once every year:) No matter how busy he is, since he just started his graduate school research:) Yay!

The first holiday trip

[ Bangkok Trip '09 ]

Heh.

So long never blog...so I decided to put up the first batch of photos..Bangkok trip. I know it was from one month ago, but judging by the laptop speed of which i upload my photos, I have to take it one step at a time, cannot be too ambitious.

Bangkok trip was lots of FUN! We enjoyed all the street food and shopping and crapping. Heh:)

Anyway, random photos ahead! Not all the photos are uploaded though, just some of the ones that are funny or memorable.

The person behind us has BAD smelly feet. Real serious case cos' everyone smelt it and even people from two rows down smelt it. It was THAT bad.

That's about all:) I hope we can go on holidays together again! So much fun:)
