Reminded of his love

[A blessing to have your love reciprocated]

It was my birthday yesterday....and I was once again reminded that he loves me. Well, even though he didn't say the words, but his actions meant it. Actions speaks louder than words, aye?

Anyway, despite the fact that he didn't get much sleep the night before my birthday, in fact, he didn't sleep the whole night cos' he was playing games with his friends, he still went out with me without a word of complain.

Too bad both of us forgot to bring our cameras cos' he treated me to Teppanyaki, which I had never been to before (yeah, I know, I am quite back-dated right?), and the food is tasty. We also went the Coffee Club for desserts, and the national day dessert is delicious.

Well, it was a nice day out full of laughs, and he made me laugh most of the time, despite the fact that he did not sleep much the day before.

Funny thing is, he told me his present for me is SO BIG (he stretched his arms wide to prove his point) and I thought he got me some sort of cabinet or cupboard.

I was so touched when I saw the present:

Enormous Mickey and Minnie Mouse!!

Why was I touched? Well, it's cos' firstly, I am so happy that he remembered his promise for me so many years back...I forgot exactly when, if I am not wrong it was during our secondary school days, when he told me he would get a VERY VERY BIG soft toy for me when he has the money, since it doesn't come cheap and he knows I like them so much (only teddy bears and Mickey mouse).

Secondly, it's cos' he still remembers that I like Mickey mouse! I mean, I have liked Mickey mouse and anything that are related to Disney(think the Disney princesses) except Winnie the Pooh. But of course, Mickey is my favourite cos' he is not only cute, but he is the symbol that represent Disney what.

I have sidetracked. My main point is, I only mentioned it once or twice throughout the entire 8 years that we are together, and he remembered it. And there is Minnie too! It's like symbolising both of us together, holding hands:), and knowing him, I think that is the reason why he chose to buy this instead of just buying a BIG Mickey.

AND this enormous Mickey and Minnie comes together, and they can hold hands(there are velcros on both their hands so that I can stick them together).

If you can't really tell how big it is through the photos, Mickey and Minnie's palms are bigger than mine, and their feet is bigger than mine too.

So I hereby announce that my bed is FULL of soft toys, all from him. Mickey and Minnie is like, the seventh soft toy from him.

Hehe, so this is a rough account of how I spent my birthday:) It is always a blessing to be reminded that the person you love loves you. It is even more joyful to be reminded of it on your birthday, cos' it is the best kind of birthday present ever.
